Ages: 8-9
Our Aleph students start by learning the Alephbet and basic phonetic structure of the Hebrew language. Our teachers introduce them to basic vocabulary and grammar, giving them the foundation for future study. They are able to decode sentences by year's end. In Jewish Education, they begin with creation and end with the return from Babylonian exile.

In the second year, our Bet students fine tune their pronunciation, expand their vocabulary, and learn to comprehend the text. The Jewish Education curriculum focuses on Second Temple Judaism through the Geonic Period.

Ages: 10-12
In the third year, our Gimel students expand their vocabulary and begin their instruction in conversational Hebrew. They learn to read directly from the Chumash with understanding. The third year Jewish Education curriculum explains Jewish medieval history, including the Crusades and Inquisition.

In the fourth and final year, our Dalet students learn to read from a Torah scroll, discuss the Hebrew text with other students in class, and learn cantorial tropes. The fourth year Jewish Education curriculum begins with the Haskalah and ends with present day. This class will also host Holocaust survivor presentations.

Our AAP students opt to complete the entire curriculum in an intensive, immersive one year course. They may or may not be aiming for B'nai Mitzvah at the end of their course. They will meet twice a week for 75 minutes each.
Payment Plan: 4 installments of $375.
Ms. Mali Miller was born in Jerusalem, Israel. She came to the United States after serving two years in the Israeli Army. Morah Mali has now lived in Florida for 40 years and has been teaching Hebrew for 29 years. She describes herself as a happy, energetic person who is passionate for her work. Morah Mali teaches conversational Hebrew, B’nai Mitzvah preparation, and also specializes with special needs.
Mr. Joseph Miterko is a graduate of the Charles L Feinberg Institute of Messianic Jewish Studies. With a passion for the Bible and Hebrew text, he loves guiding others into the joy of learning. He’s currently located in Boston and also teaches piano, enjoys coffee, and loves long walks.
