This engaging introductory class builds on the foundations of Ashreinu Years 1–4, guiding students into reading and understanding simple Torah text. New students are also warmly welcome if they already know the Alephbet and vowels, as we strengthen decoding skills and begin bringing the words of Scripture to life.

Chevruta integrates both Biblical and modern conversational Hebrew at an intermediate level. Classes meet once a week for 60 minutes. To enhance the learning experience, each student will be paired with a chevruta partner or group. This classic, collaborative approach will encourage deeper engagement with the material and foster community between students.

grounding, Jewish literacy, spiritual formation, and communal identity development for teens growing up within the Messianic Jewish movement. Students focus on foundational Jewish learning while helping them understand their place within our community.

This class introduces students to what the Talmud is, how to navigate its structure, and how to thoughtfully engage with its discussions and debates - all while uncovering meaningful connections between rabbinic tradition and the Brit Chadashah. Despite our varying practices, a foundation in Jewish tradition provides essential context for living out a thoughtful and informed Messianic Jewish life.
